William Pitkin correspondence, 1746-1769.

Three letters to then Governor Jonathan Law discussing the need for money to clothe soldiers and to pay them for taking Fort Louisburg on Cape Breton, a letter, as Governor, to the Lords of Trade and Plantations reporting on the number and types of manufactures in the colony, written in a secretary's hand, and two letters, 1769, between John Penn and Pitkin, regarding the settlement of the Susquehannah area by the Susquehannah Company, land claimed by both Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
